Hello friends!

I spent a month in my sea house without phone,tv or internet connection (I'm very sorry for not answering to all your lovely mails) on this small island with just glue, hammer, wall nails and huge amount of weathered wood.I'm so happy to show you the result :) !
"new" handles,

closet made of old stairs (I forgot to take a photo of those while they were still food for moths),
bed headboard for some kind of aromatherapy with lavanda bunch and other nice smelling herbs

mirror I made last year,
and a lucky find - old house number
hopefully the next time I will finish everything and will have more time to make photos.I hope you had a lovely time, too!

What you made is stunning and original. The house number rings so many bells - the name of the street is the date of the birth of ex-yugoslavia. It was always a huge holiday and we had to recite so many facts about it in primary school. Funny, I spent my seaside holidays not far from your island in a small village Tribunj. Love that part of the Dalmatian coast.I am so glad you are back.

What a great, creative way to use an old ladder! And the chest with its new handles is so pretty (as is everything else!) Good for you to have taken time off and have something so fantastic to show for it.
