Janos Kass

I'm in LOVE with a illustrations made by Hungarian artist Janos Kass . I have bought these stamps last year on eBay,and I just saw some wonderful books at Uresica, this morning.

I would really like to have some of his books, and I found this site, but I don't understand Hungarian :(,any suggestion is welcome...
Have a nice weekend!

Hi Kris,

These are wonderful illustrations!

Hungarian isn't one of the languages that Google Translation has on its list but I've found:

http://dict.sztaki.hu/english-hungarian

My Hungarian language knowledge is limited to 'Magyar Posta' (Hungarian Post) from way back in my stamp collecting youth!!

Hello, I think I can help you :) The website you found is an online second-hand bookstore where you can also pre-order/ make a reservation for books and if they find it they let you know. At the moment they don't have the book. If you go to the lower left corner of the page you find a British flag - meaning you can view the page in english...I know it's not the best way to show this but that's how it is. I had books with his illustrations when I was a child and I still have some as I collect children's books :) Good luck and let me know if you need more help with hungarian :) Btw. Your blog is really great! Reka (born in Hungary, lives in Finland)
