the importance of packaging....

you probably know already how important packaging is, but if you live in Italy, it is particularly true.I usually wait at the post-office for 30 minutes at least, so it's much funnier to have something nice to look at. It also makes people in the line become particularly kind to me, not to mention all the smiles I get at the counter!

not so much because of summit but rather because we have very dark entrance and I thought it would look much much better in some bold vibrant color....now that I have the same shade on my nails and matching stains in the hair, this vibrant green looks a little less appealing :)

I will show you whole entrance as soon as I finish!

Among all the things I buy and don't use, this one is probably the most bizarre since I don't eat candies.The one with a gingerbread man is my latest purchase, I just can't resist that packaging especially while I'm still  sleepy and drinking my first coffee in the morning.Luckily they don't have all the range at café otherwise I would go bankrupt!

On an evening in January, a spoiled young queen sends her servant into the woods for the impossible task of finding April flowers in the midst of winter. The young peasant girl finds the flowers with the help of the personified twelve months.

Judging from this blog, it seems that I froze to death in that snow,last week.I'm not :), I'm still here overwhelmed with some boring work... in the mean time my boyfriend went to Hungary and look what I've got:

colors

I moved from the tiles to my closet now and I was wondering: after years of designing fashion collections and pulling out so many stripes on this blog, how possibly my wardrobe has ended up to be so boring and monochrome? I guess it happens to a big part of fashion designers...when I was studying, ten years ago, we were all dressed in black,now everything in my closet is gray.That's not a big deal for someone else but as I love the color and believe in its psychological impact I decided that it's something I have to change.Since I'm impulsive and emotive shopper I desperately need a scheme. In case you have same problem... here is what I did:

I cut the samples of all colors that I like on me (a bit dusty and cold tonalities) and put them all together.

Then I played making the combinations I like most...still it would be a complete mess

So I made huge stripes, pick the neutrals for basic clothes like pants and brighter for jackets, more colorful for tops and sweaters, and bold colors for accent.I should just try to follow this guide now and my wardrobe should work ( I should try to earn at least 5.000 $,too :)

Maybe you always had this kind of scheme on your mind, and it's just me struggling with it :( ?! I would love to hear your thoughts...

My butterfly buddy and I will fly around the house for at least a week.

We need to make some changes so I started painting floors and tiles in the whole apartment, while he's deciding what wall color would fit best with his spots.Have a great week!

Lately,I have had a few requests for my teapot print including one t-shirt and lot of tea towels.I had so much fun mixing tailor-made colours over the weekend and little less fun tidying up the mess, today...anyhow the colours on third tea towel are my favorite (pretty autumn palette).

Hello friends!

I spent a month in my sea house without phone,tv or internet connection (I'm very sorry for not answering to all your lovely mails) on this small island with just glue,hammer,wall nails and huge amount of weathered wood.I'm so happy to show you the result :) !
