Broad bean salad

I just discover young broad beans and I'm eating this salad almost every day (Vicia faba addiction?)
4 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp. tahini
1 tsp. Dijon mustard
juice of 1 lemon
Mix the dressing with
some podded young broad beans (fresh or cooked for around 3 minutes)
rocket salad
1 or 2 fresh zucchini (cuted with a peeler)
Sprinkle with sesame seeds, salt and pepper

Have a nice weekend !

Design for babies and children

A brand-new company Ninetonine
Toys & Crayons
...A sleek line of oak or wenge, punctuated by pairs of differentsized holes, into which you can
suspend baby’s toys with removable wooden element inside, designed to organise all those crayons and drawing pencils.Of course, you don’t have to keep baby’s toys on the shelf and
crayons in the drawer: it’s contemporary design means it can be used for years to come...

Zebra,
...whose ‘head’, serves as both handle and also the perfect place for bottles,
dummies, or anything else you want close by, but out of baby’s reach, and rests on two sturdy yet elegant legs...

Fuori Salone

The “fuorisalone” expression is used to define the vast range of events animating the whole city during the Milano Salone del Mobile exhibition’s week, but it's completely independent. You can see a lot of young talented designers, new companies but also famous enterprises in design domain as Driade and Cappellini.

Beautiful crystal glass collection called "Domestic violence",made only for this event by Koncern Prague.
The Kubista shop ,specializes in the most important periods of Czech design-Cubisam,Art deco and Functionalism. The work of young designers inspired with this era is sold alongside originals.

Anemonas

Unless you are a big art dealer or your art worth millions, the best part of Milan's Art Fair(MiArt) are the numerous cultural and art events presented in the city under the umbrella title "fuoriMiArt"(out of MiArt). You can get a glass of nice spumante everywhere and enjoy the work of young artists in smallest spaces, improvised galleries and restaurants.Work of Marco Querin catch my eye.

North and South

I received a letter from the reader Steven yesterday, asking me about the colors in North and South of Italy. So here are two places that inspire me most:
Camogli, it's a small fishing village and my favorite place to spend some days in spring, taking sun bath, drinking good wine and eating great food.If you are coming to Italy it's definitely worth of visit,in the mean time you can take a virtual walk here, but of course it's less romantic.

The second one is in South Italy,it is small town named Alberobello,I've never been there but it must be beautiful.Houses in the photo are a traditional stone dwelling with a conical roof.I would love to spend my next holiday in one of these!
